Dadennggre Garo Students’ Union urges SAI Computers to hold recruitment interviews locally

Dadennggre, October 6, 2026: The Dadennggre Garo Students’ Union (GSU), Western Zone (North), has urged SAI Computers Ltd. to conduct recruitment and job interviews at Dadennggre for the benefit of local unemployed youths.
In a letter dated October 6 and addressed to the Human Resource Manager of SAI Computers Ltd., Phulbari Sub-Division, Dadenggre GSU President Tengsan M. Marak highlighted the difficulties faced by applicants from Dadennggre and surrounding areas who have applied for various posts under the company’s ongoing recruitment drive.

The union stated that requiring candidates to travel to Phulbari for interviews creates financial and logistical difficulties, particularly for local youths with limited resources. It expressed concern that eligible candidates could be discouraged from participating because of the additional travel expenses and other challenges.
The GSU has therefore requested SAI Computers Ltd. to arrange for its HR Manager or concerned recruitment team to visit Dadennggre and conduct the interviews locally.
According to the union, holding interviews at Dadennggre would make the recruitment process more accessible and provide a greater number of local youths with an opportunity to compete for employment and become self-reliant.
The union further appealed to the company to take up the matter immediately and positively, stating that the request was made in the larger interest of the people and unemployed youth of Dadennggre and surrounding areas.
