CSAWO Headquarters approves Garobadha Regional Unit, announces new leadership team

Ampati, November 4, 2026: The Civil Society A·chik Welfare Organisation (CSAWO), Headquarters Ampati, has officially approved and recognised the formation of its Garobadha Regional Unit, with a new executive committee appointed to lead the organisation’s activities in the area.

The announcement was made through an official notification issued by CSAWO Headquarters, Ampati, on November 2, 2026, under the authority of its President, Tryans Ch. Marak.

As per the notification, the newly approved regional unit will operate throughout its designated jurisdiction under the Garobadha area, following the constitution, aims and objectives of the organisation. The newly appointed office bearers have been authorised to manage organisational affairs and undertake social welfare activities on behalf of CSAWO.

The Main Executive Body will be headed by Rengan Ch. Marak as President, with Saljagring M. Sangma appointed as Vice President. Nepsing M. Sangma will serve as General Secretary, Zeng R. Marak as Assistant Secretary, and Riksrang as Finance Secretary.

The Executive Members of the regional unit are Balnen Ch. Marak, Sengra Ch. Sangma, Bitto A. Sangma and Bachon M. Sangma.

In its notification, CSAWO Headquarters has requested all government departments, the district administration, police authorities and the general public to extend their cooperation and support to the newly appointed leadership in carrying out its organisational responsibilities and social welfare initiatives.

The approval and recognition of the Garobadha Regional Unit marks an organisational expansion of CSAWO in the area, with the new team entrusted with strengthening its presence and implementing its objectives at the regional level. The recognition will remain effective until further orders are issued by CSAWO Headquarters, Ampati.
