Tura, June 26: The Dadenggre North Western Zonal Council of Achik Conscious Holistically Integrated Krima (ACHIK) has approved the formation of the Wadagokgre Sub-Unit Interim Body for a period of six months to strengthen the organization’s activities at the grassroots level.
According to an official order, the interim body will function under the supervision of the Dadenggre North Western Zonal Council with immediate effect or until further orders, whichever is earlier. The council stated that the approval aims to facilitate organizational activities, enhance coordination, and promote the objectives of ACHIK within the jurisdiction of the Wadagokgre Sub-Unit.
The interim body has been entrusted with carrying out all organizational functions in accordance with the Constitution, Rules, Regulations, and directives of ACHIK. It has also been directed to work collectively for the welfare, unity, and advancement of the organization while submitting periodic reports to the North Western Zonal Council.
Hilbaath R. Marak has been appointed as President, while Gongseng Marak will serve as General Secretary. Other office bearers include Pamel Sangma as Vice President, Elwin Sangma as Additional Secretary, Krebison Marak as Organizing Secretary, Gaikchey Marak as Games and Sports Secretary, Dipseng Marak as Environment Secretary, Rayu Sangma as Publicity Secretary, Hizat Sangma as RTI Secretary, and Silgak Marak as Additional Organizing Secretary.
Pilladson Sangma has been named Advisor, while Nomseng Sangma, Piseng Sangma, Gamseng Sangma, Sekgen Sangma, Welet Marak, Dimseng Marak, Tudik Marak, and Mathis Sangma have been appointed as Executive Members. The approval will remain valid for six months and may be reviewed, extended, or reconstituted by the competent authority as deemed necessary.
