ACHIK condemns brutal murder of Lt. Samuel R. Marak, demands swift justice

Tura, October 7, 2026: The ACHIK Organization has strongly condemned the alleged brutal murder of Lt. Samuel R. Marak, a resident of Dobakol Santinagar, Tura, and called for the immediate arrest of those responsible and swift justice.

According to information shared by the victim’s family, Lt. Samuel R. Marak reportedly went missing on September 28, 2026. After several days of searching, his deceased body was reportedly found abandoned in a forested area.

The incident has sent shockwaves through the local community, with the circumstances surrounding his disappearance and death raising serious concern.

Johny A. Marak, General Secretary (F&O), H.Q. Krima Council, ACHIK, condemned the incident in the strongest terms, describing such violence as an assault on peace, human dignity and the safety of the community.

ACHIK has appealed to the law enforcement authorities and state administration to expedite the investigation, identify and apprehend all those responsible, and ensure that the victim’s family receives justice.

The organization also expressed solidarity with the bereaved family and said it would continue to closely monitor the progress of the investigation while remaining committed to ensuring that justice is delivered without delay.
